Take advantage of the sunny weather and exercise outdoors!

The beautiful weather we have been enjoying in recent weeks is definitely conducive to spending time outdoors. It is even better if we combine going outdoors with physical activity – after all, an effective workout in natural surroundings is what sport lovers like most! What exercises can be done outdoors?

It is well known that exercising outdoors has many benefits – not only for our health and figure, but also for our general well-being and mood. Various studies show that thanks to this type of activity we will have a positive impact on the respiratory and circulatory systems, and also greatly oxygenate the body. Therefore, there is a good chance that during the spring-summer period a green park will become our favorite place to exercise. The open space will work well regardless of the purpose of our workouts because of the extremely wide range of possibilities. Here are some of them:

1. Jumping on a skipping rope

For many of us, skipping is a childhood favourite, but it’s also an invaluable activity for strengthening lower body muscles and improving fitness. So if we want to combine pleasure with utility, skipping will be an excellent choice!

2. Squats

Another popular exercise for strengthening lower body muscles, praised by thousands of women. The squats will provide improved stability and mobility to the entire body. Despite appearances, this activity is relatively technically demanding, so it is advisable to broaden your knowledge in this area a little before proceeding.

3. Plank

Plank is one of the most commonly used exercises for abdominal muscles, for which we will need only a little free space. Here again, the technique plays a key role – correctly performed plank will certainly help us build strong abdominal muscles, which in turn will prove useful in many other exercises.

4. Pull-ups

In the outdoor training set, pull-ups cannot be omitted, of course. There are outdoor gyms in almost every city, so we shouldn’t have the slightest problem finding a bar. Among the advantages of pull-ups, the main ones are strengthening the muscles of the back and shoulders and significantly improving endurance.
