If you have been looking for an effective diet to impress with your shapely figure during the upcoming vacations, it is definitely worth betting on an eating model in which bananas play one of the leading roles. The banana diet is a simple and inexpensive way to not only look attractive, but to feel great too. What does it involve?

Banana – a vitamin bomb and the basis of the banana diet

The creator of banana diet is a Japanese Hitoshi Watanabe, whose unique menu almost immediately became extremely popular in different parts of the world. Such a turn of events is not surprising when we consider the effectiveness of this diet model – after all, it helped thousands of women to get rid of excess weight, including opera singer Kumiko Mori. Since then, more and more people decide to enrich their diet with bananas, which contain plenty of essential vitamins and nutrients.

What is the banana diet?

The banana diet, as the name suggests, consists of eating meals based primarily on these tasty fruits with a high protein and carbohydrate content. There are really a lot of possibilities, because bananas work well in the preparation of both cold and warm dishes. We can successfully combine them with honey, oatmeal or natural yoghurt. Let’s not forget about regular consumption of other fruits, such as apples or oranges.

Types and effects of a banana diet

The bananadiet can be divided into the following categories based on the duration: one-day, three-day, seven-day and the longest one, i.e. one-month. Of course, the 30-day adventure with the diet proposed by the Japanese medical graduate will bring us the most benefits. However, slim figure is not all it has to offer. Thanks to the high content of B vitamins, bananas can also help us cope with excessive stress and fatigue. We have to admit, this sounds like the perfect recipe for a successful vacation!
